USA Lacrosse announced on May 7 that Alexis Morton, a senior attacker, was named an honorable mention All-American for the 2026 NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse season. Morton was among 102 players recognized across 36 Division I programs and was the only student-athlete from the Atlantic 10 Conference to receive this honor.
The selection of All-Americans is made by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff with input from coaches and conferences nationwide. This recognition highlights Morton’s standout performance during her senior year.
Morton concluded her season by earning several awards, including Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference honors. She also received ILWomen Nike Lacrosse Midseason Media All-America honorable mention accolades and was named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week three times. In total, she recorded 99 points on 57 goals and 42 assists over 17 games, finishing with a .765 shots-on-goal percentage and a .559 shooting percentage. She also contributed seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
Morton played a key role in leading Richmond to one of the top offenses in the nation. The team ranked sixth nationally in scoring offense and points per game, ninth in total points, seventeenth in goals per game, and nineteenth in assists per game. Individually within the Atlantic 10 Conference, Morton led with an average of 5.82 points per game, ranked third in goals per game at 3.35, and second in assists per game at 2.47.
She set a Richmond single-season record with her point total and tied the program’s single-game record twice by posting two separate games with eleven points each against VCU and Duquesne. Morton led her team in multiple statistical categories including points, goals, assists, and shooting percentage among players who attempted at least ten shots.
