The Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, July 23. The meeting will commence with a work session at 2 p.m. in Room 502 of the County Administration Building, located at 9901 Lori Road. An evening session will follow at 6 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room, situated at 10001 Iron Bridge Road.

Key points on the agenda include updates from Parks and Recreation and Building Inspection, as well as recognition of this year’s summer interns.

The meeting, excluding any closed sessions, will be accessible for viewing on Comcast Channel 98 and Verizon Channel 28. It will also be live-streamed on Chesterfield.gov and the county’s YouTube channel.

Citizens who wish to comment during the “Citizen Comment Period on Unscheduled Matters” can submit their remarks via an online form or leave a message by calling 804-748-1200. The portal for comments will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, to ensure comments are prepared for public and board review before the meeting.

For those wanting to speak in person about unscheduled matters, advance sign-up is required by contacting Clerk to the Board Susan Wilson via email or phone at 804-748-1200. According to the Rules of Procedure of the Board of Supervisors, speaking requests are accepted starting at 8:30 a.m. on the first business day following the previous board meeting and ending at noon on the day of the meeting.
