The Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to convene on Wednesday, May 28. The meeting will begin with a work session at 5 p.m., followed by an evening session starting at 6 p.m. Both sessions will take place in the Public Meeting Room located at 10001 Iron Bridge Road.

Key items on the agenda include the annual update from the Sheriff’s Office and the recognition of graduates from the 2025 Spring Government Citizens Academy.

The entire meeting will be accessible for viewing on Comcast Channel 98 and Verizon Channel 28. Additionally, it will be live-streamed on Chesterfield.gov and the county’s YouTube channel.

Citizens who wish to provide comments during the “Citizen Comment Period on Unscheduled Matters” can submit their input via an online form or by leaving a message at 804-748-1200. The portal for submitting comments will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, to ensure timely preparation for both public and board review prior to the meeting.

Those interested in speaking in person about unscheduled matters must register in advance by contacting Clerk to the Board Susan Wilson either via email or by calling 804-748-1200. According to the Rules of Procedure of the Board of Supervisors, requests to speak are accepted starting at 8:30 a.m. on the first business day after the previous board meeting and ending at noon on the day of the current meeting.

The public hearing comment form and meeting agenda are available online for citizens’ reference. Citizens are encouraged to review public hearing agenda items and attachments before submitting their comments.
