Chesterfield County Public Schools announced on May 14 that graduation ceremonies for about 4,300 high school seniors will be held from May 18 through May 27.
The ceremonies mark a significant milestone for students and their families as the class of 2026 prepares to receive diplomas. While the events are not open to the general public, each ceremony will be livestreamed and available for later viewing at bit.ly/CCPSGrads26.
Seniors have been given tickets to share with family and friends so they can attend in person. The schedule begins with Matoaca High School’s ceremony at Virginia State University Multipurpose Center on May 18 at 9 a.m., followed by Thomas Dale High School at Virginia Commonwealth University Siegel Center at 3 p.m. Over the following days, other schools including Cosby, Manchester, Bird, James River, Clover Hill, Monacan, Midlothian, Meadowbrook High Schools will hold their ceremonies primarily at VCU Siegel Center. Carver College and Career Academy will conclude the series on May 27 at Thomas R. Fulghum Conference Center.
The livestream option ensures that those unable to attend in person can still participate in celebrating this milestone alongside graduates. This approach aims to make graduation accessible while managing attendance limits.
As Chesterfield County Public Schools prepares for these events, families and students are encouraged to check schedules and share viewing links with extended networks.
