The Chesterfield Planning Commission is set to convene for its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 15, at 6 p.m. The session will take place in the Public Meeting Room located at 10001 Iron Bridge Road.

A significant item on the agenda is a public hearing regarding the county’s proposed Zoning Ordinance Modernization Project (ZOMod). Residents unable to attend in person are encouraged to submit their comments through an online form available at www.chesterfield.gov/cpccomments. This platform allows citizens to provide feedback on ZOMod and other zoning cases listed for this month.

Each public hearing requires a separate comment submission, with only one comment per individual being accepted. Comments can also be submitted via email at planning@chesterfield.gov or by phone at 804-748-1125.

For those attending in person, seating may be limited. Individuals wishing to speak on specific cases should register in the hallway before the meeting commences at 6 p.m.

Public comments through various channels will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, July 14, ensuring they reach the Planning Commission for consideration before the meeting.

For updated information, residents are advised to contact the Planning Department at 804-748-1050 or visit www.chesterfield.gov/plan by no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, July 14.

Details such as the agenda, staff reports, and PowerPoint presentations related to the July 15 meeting are accessible via www.chesterfield.gov/plan.

The Chesterfield Planning Commission meeting will also be broadcasted live on WCCT Chesterfield Community Television—Comcast channel 98 and Verizon channel 28—and streamed live on YouTube.com/ChesterfieldCountyVA.
