Henrico County is home to a large and diverse student population. The Henrico County Public Schools District enrolled more than 50,000 students during the 2023-24 school year, with Deep Run High School recording the highest enrollment among its schools at over 2,000 students (Virginia Department of Education). Black students made up the largest ethnic group in county schools during that period, accounting for nearly 36% of total enrollment (Virginia Department of Education). These announcements come as Henrico continues to serve a growing and active community through both educational and civic engagement opportunities.
