Henrico County Government has recently communicated several significant developments through its official Twitter account. These updates, dated June 11, 2025, include decisions made by the county’s Board concerning contracts and infrastructure improvements.

On June 11, 2025, Henrico County announced that following a vote by the Board, a contract valued at $382,000 annually has been awarded for the clearing of easements. The decision is aimed at maintaining clear and accessible public spaces within the county. In another development on the same day, Henrico County revealed that the Board approved a resolution to seek grant funding through the Regional Infrastructure Accelerators program. This initiative aims to enhance infrastructure along Staples Mill Road, which includes improvements to the Staples Mill Road Amtrak Station.
