Henrico County Government has been active on social media, providing updates and acknowledgments related to community efforts and upcoming events. The county government uses its platform to engage with residents and inform them of local developments.

On June 3, 2025, Henrico County Government expressed gratitude towards those distributing water to the community over recent days. They acknowledged both the volunteers’ efforts and the residents who utilized the distribution sites, emphasizing a sense of community involvement: “Please join us in thanking all the folks who have been passing out water to community members over the last several days. We also appreciate our residents for taking advantage of the distribution sites. It really does take a village!”

Two days later, on June 5, 2025, Henrico County announced an upcoming special meeting of the Board of Supervisors scheduled for June 10 at the Henrico County Government Center. The meeting will begin with a special session at 4 p.m., followed by a regular session at 6 p.m.: “The Henrico County Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. and a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at the Henrico County Government Center, 4301 E. Parham Road.”

Also on June 5, Henrico County shared news regarding enhancements planned for a popular park based on visitor feedback. The improvements include additional parking spaces tailored for buses, daycares, and food trucks; increased shaded areas with seating; and an upgraded filtration system for the play stream: “Based on the park’s popularity & feedback from visitors, @henricorecparks is adding: – more parking… – more shade & seating – an enhanced filtration system for the play stream!”

In addition to these updates, it is noteworthy that during the 2023-24 school year in Henrico County Public Schools District—the only school district in Henrico—there were significant enrollment figures reflecting diversity and growth trends within local educational institutions.
