Henrico County Government announced the approval of two new lease agreements for county property, detailing terms and payment structures following a recent Board resolution.

On July 22, 2025, Henrico County Government stated, “Under the new lease, the state will pay monthly rent of $12,966 for the first year, with a 3% annual escalation for subsequent years. The initial five-year term of the lease will begin Aug. 1; the lease may be renewed for up to three five-year terms.”

In another post on July 22, Henrico County Government reported, “Following a public hearing, the Board has approved a resolution authorizing the lease of 76 acres of county property at 7160 Gill Dale Road to Creamfield Farm LLC.”

The details of this second agreement were further clarified in a subsequent tweet on July 22: “Under the lease, Creamfield Farm will pay rent of $1 for Aug. 1 to Dec. 31; beginning Jan. 1, 2026, the LLC will pay $2,507 annually. The lease will renew for six one-year terms.”

Henrico County is home to one public school district that enrolled over 50,000 students during the most recent academic year—a figure that has remained stable compared to previous years (source). The county’s educational system includes large schools such as Deep Run High School and serves a diverse student body (source). These leases reflect ongoing management and utilization of county-owned properties within this growing community.
