The district saw only a slight increase in enrollment compared to the previous year. Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment among local schools with more than two thousand students attending in that period. Black students made up the largest ethnic group within the school system at nearly 36 percent of total enrollment; white students comprised just under one-third of all students. Holladay Elementary School registered the most pre-kindergarten enrollments among elementary schools in the county.
