Henrico County Government recently shared updates on upcoming public events and decisions through a series of tweets. These communications focused on providing access to live streams, participation guidelines for public hearings, and discussions on new regulations.

On May 15, 2025, Henrico County Government announced that individuals could “watch the livestream” by following a Webex link provided for that day. This information was shared at 20:47:48 UTC.

Shortly after, at 20:48:31 UTC on the same day, another tweet informed the public that they could “participate in the public hearing remotely on Webex”. The tweet included guidance for accessing this remote participation option.

Later in the afternoon at 21:03:12 UTC, Henrico County Government highlighted that during a meeting held that day, both the Board and Planning Commission would “consider new regulations for data centers”. This includes new design guidelines and establishing a special focus area for properties zoned for industry within the White Oak Technology Park area.

The educational landscape of Henrico County is notable as well. During the 2023-24 school year, Henrico County Public Schools District enrolled 50,464 students. Among these institutions, Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment with 2,039 students. Black students were the largest ethnic group within these schools during this period.
