Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed a range of issues on her social media platform, including housing concerns for Carriage House residents and criticism of former President Donald Trump’s policies.

On May 13, 2026, McClellan shared a resource with her followers, posting: “Watch the full conversation with other storytellers here: https://t.co/lySAnlAqaT”.

Later that day, she highlighted ongoing challenges faced by residents of Carriage House. In her tweet dated May 13, 2026, she stated: “After being subjected to unacceptable conditions, Carriage House residents were kept in the dark and now have no clarity into when, whether or how to evacuate. My team and I are communicating with local, state and federal officials and the property owners to get more information”.

On May 14, 2026, McClellan criticized former President Trump’s economic record and spending priorities. She wrote: “Trump promised to bring down costs for the American people. Instead, he’s driven them up with tariff wars, a war in Iran and disastrous policies that leave millions to fend for themselves. Now, he wants $1 billion for his White House ballroom vanity project — paid for off the https://t.co/8XfYAtavn8”.

Jennifer McClellan has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Donald McEachin as representative of Virginia’s 4th district.
