Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on her social media account on May 16, 2026, congratulating local graduates and providing an update on congressional activities.

In her first post at 20:59 UTC, McClellan wrote, “Congrats to the graduating class at @VSU_1882! https://t.co/X9sMJqZXAS”. Shortly after, at 21:03 UTC, she shared another message stating, “Congrats to the Class of 2026 at @BHSBulldogsbcps! “.

Later that evening, McClellan commented on legislative activity with a third post at 22:53 UTC: “The House was back in session for another busy week. Keep watching for what you may have missed this week. https://t.co/usZ63C3T5l”.

Jennifer McClellan has represented Virginia’s 4th District in Congress since 2023 and previously served in both the Virginia House of Delegates and Senate. She succeeded Donald McEachin following his tenure in the seat. Born in Petersburg in 1972 and currently residing in Richmond, McClellan is an alumna of the University of Richmond and holds a law degree from the University of Virginia.
