Jennifer McClellan was born in Petersburg, Virginia in 1972 and resides in Richmond. She has been serving in Congress since replacing Donald McEachin in 2023. Prior to this role, she served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2017 and also held office in the Virginia Senate. A graduate of the University of Richmond and holder of a JD from the University of Virginia, McClellan continues her legislative work focused on various critical issues affecting her constituents.
