On August 20, 2025, McClellan informed followers of an upcoming event registration: “You can register for this event using the link here: https://t.co/zF3GL7CaLB” (posted August 20, 2025).
Later that day, she addressed concerns regarding a student from Tucker High School: “This week, students across Virginia’s Fourth return to school, including my own. Unfortunately, one Tucker High School student started the new school year in the Farmville Detention Center, picked up by ICE. Read more in my newsletter below “ (posted August 20, 2025). Jennifer McClellan has represented Virginia’s 4th District since replacing Donald McEachin in Congress in 2023. Prior to her current role, she served both in the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia Senate. Born in Petersburg and currently residing in Richmond at age 50, McClellan is an alumna of the University of Richmond and holds a law degree from the University of Virginia.
