Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted her recent activities on social media, including support for small businesses, educators, and infrastructure investment in Hopewell.
On May 5, 2026, McClellan posted about her visit to a local childcare provider during Small Business Week: “As we celebrate #SmallBusinessWeek, I visited Tiny Treasures Child Care Center in Hopewell and spoke with Tyesha Evans about how we can support small businesses like hers.”

McClellan has represented Virginia’s 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Donald McEachin. She previously served in both the Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2017 and the Virginia Senate. Born in Petersburg in 1972 and now residing in Richmond, McClellan holds degrees from the University of Richmond (BA) and University of Virginia (JD).
