Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of updates on her official social media account, covering topics from constituent engagement to climate justice advocacy.

A day later, on July 31, she acknowledged the contributions of her office’s interns and extended good wishes to those finishing their summer tenure. In her message marking National Intern Day, McClellan wrote: “Happy #NationalInternDay! Continuing her public engagement into August, McClellan addressed ongoing efforts related to climate policy despite congressional recess. On August 1 she stated: “The fight for climate justice doesn’t pause just because Congress is in recess.

Jennifer McClellan has represented Virginia’s 4th district in Congress since succeeding Donald McEachin in 2023.
