Jennifer McClellan, born in Petersburg, Virginia in 1972, has been a resident of Richmond and a distinguished alumna of the University of Richmond, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1994, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia in 1997. Her political career began in the Virginia House of Delegates in 2006, and she later served in the Virginia Senate before assuming her current congressional role in 2023.
