Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, who represents Virginia’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her social media account summarizing recent activities and acknowledging staff contributions.

On August 29, 2025, McClellan shared a link to her remarks, inviting followers to view them: “Watch my full remarks here: https://t.co/belmlwNNTw”.

Later that day, she highlighted the work of Erica Eisenman, an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) legislative branch fellow who has been with her office for ten months. In her post dated August 29, 2025, McClellan wrote: “For the past ten months, Erica Eisenman has served in my office through the @aaas legislative branch fellowship. In that time, she researched health care policy, met with advocates and assisted our team during what has been an at-times hectic year. Erica: You’ve been a delight https://t.co/BvTQgTNXsH”.

On August 30, 2025, McClellan noted the conclusion of the congressional August recess by sharing: “It’s the last week of August recess. See what you may have missed. https://t.co/Iy1WAkqQth”.

Jennifer McClellan has represented Virginia’s 4th district in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Donald McEachin. Before joining Congress, she served in both the Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2017 and in the Virginia Senate. Born in Petersburg in 1972 and currently residing in Richmond, McClellan holds degrees from the University of Richmond and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
