In her first tweet, McClellan announced that “Exciting news: @LEGO_Group will invest $350 million in a new warehouse and distribution center in Prince George County as part of its North American operations in Virginia!” She highlighted that this facility is expected to create hundreds of new jobs and contribute to economic growth in the area.

Jennifer McClellan has been serving Virginia’s 4th District since replacing Donald McEachin in 2023. Before her current role, she served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2006 to 2017 and on the Virginia Senate. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, she currently resides in Richmond and holds degrees from both the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia.
