Mark Earley, a public figure active in Virginia politics, recently used his Twitter account to address several community and policy issues. His posts focused on blood donation efforts, an ongoing news story he described as irrational, and the state’s energy needs.

On July 21, 2025, Earley visited a local American Legion post to donate blood and encouraged others to do the same. He wrote: “Stopped by American Legion Post 186 on Otterdale to get back in the habit of making regular blood donations. Thanks to @VARedCross for doing a great job! If you’re able to donate, make yourself an appointment — donating only takes a few minutes and it could be the difference”.

Later that evening, Earley commented on an unspecified situation or news event. On July 21, 2025, he posted: “This story continues to upend reason. Truly common sense vs. nonsense”.

Addressing energy policy in Virginia on July 22, 2025, Earley stated: “Here’s the truth: we need more energy in Virginia. For our homes, business and industry. If we’re going to meet our growing energy demand, with going bankrupt, with must embrace an ALL-OF-THE-ABOVE approach. But the current laws in Virginia, passed under a Democratic”.

Earley’s comments come at a time when energy demand is rising across Virginia due to population growth and economic development. The state has debated its future energy mix amid concerns about reliability and affordability.
