Mark Earley, a political figure active in Virginia, addressed several issues on his social media account on August 13, 2025. His posts covered topics including school board compliance with Title IX, allegations concerning Fairfax schools, and state energy and tax policy.

In a post from August 13, 2025, Earley criticized certain school boards for their stance on gender policies: “It is sad & shocking that some of these school boards are so invested in radical gender ideology that they refuse to comply with Title IX and protect the safety, privacy, & dignity of girls. Completely unacceptable.”

Later the same day, he commented on recent developments in Fairfax: “The allegations being made in Fairfax are extremely serious — both in terms of going behind parents’ backs & potentially misusing public funds. Answers are urgently needed here.”

Earley also discussed economic matters following an event focused on energy and tax policy: “Great discussion this afternoon about energy and tax policy. We have a lot of work to do to not only make Virginia more affordable, but to secure our energy future with an all of the above approach. Appreciate @AFPVA and the Better Business Bureau hosting this conversation.”

Title IX is a federal law enacted as part of the Education Amendments of 1972 that prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or other education program receiving federal funding. In recent years, debates over how Title IX applies to transgender students have intensified across various states.

Fairfax County Public Schools has previously faced scrutiny regarding its policies related to parental notification and management of public funds.

Energy affordability and security remain ongoing concerns for policymakers in Virginia as stakeholders discuss approaches that balance economic growth with sustainability goals.
