Mark Earley, a public figure and candidate for Virginia’s House of Delegates, posted several messages on his social media account on October 19, 2025. His tweets addressed recent protests in Richmond, community engagement activities, and local sports.

In a tweet from the evening of October 19, Earley commented on the aftermath of protests in Richmond: “Violent language and ugly anti-Christian imagery showed up in Richmond yesterday following the protests. Politics doesn’t have to be like this. We can sincerely disagree without devolving to this level. We must appeal to our better angels.” (October 19, 2025).

Later that day, Earley shared support for a local college football team with the post: “Amazing run for @UVAFootball” (October 19, 2025).

He also described his involvement with faith communities and neighborhood outreach: “Big Sunday! Connected with two church congregations then doors in the afternoon. While I miss Sunday afternoon football, nothing beats connecting with neighbors.” (October 19, 2025).

Earley’s statements come at a time when political tensions have resulted in contentious demonstrations in Richmond. As a candidate for Virginia’s House of Delegates, he has positioned himself as an advocate for civil discourse and community engagement.
