Mark Earley, a public figure and commentator, recently shared his views on education policy, business development, and economic rankings in Virginia through a series of posts on social media. His comments addressed the treatment of students in Loudoun County schools, efforts to support small businesses, and Virginia’s changing position in national business rankings.

On July 11, 2025, Earley criticized the Loudoun school system’s handling of certain students. He stated: “This is so sad. No one should ever feel pushed out of a school, much less pushed out of Virginia, simply because they acknowledge reality. The way that the Loudoun school system has targeted these boys is obscene. We have to bring back common sense.”

Later that day, Earley commented on developments aimed at supporting small businesses in Virginia. He wrote: “Great progress to make building small business and hiring new employees easier.” This statement was made on July 11, 2025.

In another post from July 11, 2025, Earley discussed Virginia’s ranking in CNBC’s annual list of best states for business. He said: “While Democrats are clearly thrilled that CNBC moved our ranking from #1 to #4 because they think it gives them a talking point, let’s be serious about this. Here in VA, we’ve had strong private sector growth. $121 billion in business investment. Over 250,000 jobs added.”

Loudoun County Public Schools have been the subject of ongoing debate regarding their policies and student treatment over recent years.
