Mark Earley, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 to represent the 73rd House district, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account criticizing political opponents and questioning their motives.
On April 3, 2026, Earley posted: “What is truth?”
Later that day, he added: “VA Democrats have proven time & time again that facts don’t matter to them.” (April 3, 2026).
The following day, Earley commented on marketing spending by stating: “The reason they need $50 million for marketing is because the product they’re selling stinks, and they know it.” (April 4, 2026).
Earley’s remarks come as part of his ongoing criticism of Democratic lawmakers in Virginia. As background, he succeeded Rodney Willett after winning election to the state legislature in 2024.
