Mark Earley, a Republican member of the Virginia State House representing the 73rd district, has used his social media platform to voice opposition to current legislative actions and express criticism of Virginia Democrats in a series of posts published between April 13 and April 15, 2026.

On April 13, Earley urged voters to reject an unspecified measure before the approaching deadline. He wrote, “The comprehensive case on why you should vote NO on or before April 21st! Vote NO and Save Virginia!”

The following day, on April 14, he intensified his critique with another post: “A damning indictment of Virginia Democrats.”

Earley’s concerns about fiscal management were highlighted in a tweet posted on April 15. He stated, “Exactly right. April 15th would be far less painful if our elected leaders were good stewards of our money. But as it stands now, knowing the level of waste/fraud and having seen it firsthand as a member of the VA legislature — it’s just infuriating.”

Earley was elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 after replacing Rodney Willett as representative for the state’s 73rd House district.
