Mark Earley, a political candidate, used his Twitter account on July 25 and 26, 2025, to advocate for policies regarding women’s sports and private spaces. In his posts, Earley emphasized the importance of what he described as “common sense” measures in both his own race and the gubernatorial contest.

On July 25, Earley wrote: “In both my race and the Governor’s race, there’s only one candidate who will stand up and protect women’s sports and women’s private spaces. This is as common sense as it gets.”

Later that day, he commented on developments related to school policy by stating: “This is an encouraging development. It is long past time for school systems to implement common sense policies that protect women’s sports and women’s private spaces.”

The following morning, on July 26, Earley shared an update about campaign activities: “And we’re off to the doors! Great group out this morning to beat the heat for the common sense agenda!”

Earley’s comments reflect ongoing national debates over policies affecting participation in women’s sports and access to gender-segregated facilities. These issues have been at the center of legislative discussions in several states over recent years.
