Mark Earley, a public figure active in Virginia politics, shared updates on community engagement and law enforcement support through a series of posts on his social media account in early August 2025.
On August 6, 2025, Earley highlighted the annual National Night Out event, emphasizing its role in bringing together local communities and first responders. He wrote: “NATIONAL NIGHT OUT! Great evening across Chesterfield for communities, law enforcement, first responders, & volunteer organizations to connect. Stopped by Tabernacle Baptist Church, Foxfire, Heron Pointe, & more!”
Continuing his focus on public safety the following day, Earley described a meeting with members of the Police Benevolent Association. On August 7 he posted: “Enjoyed the opportunity to meet with folks from the Police Benevolent Association today. Public safety is a core Virginia value. Part of making safe streets and safe schools a reality is standing by law enforcement. We must ensure they have the support, resources, and training”.
Later that same day, Earley attended an event supporting John Reid’s campaign for State Senate in Midlothian. In his post he stated: “Great event in Midlothian for @JohnReid4VA When it comes to breaking tie votes in the State Senate, the contrast between John and his opponent are stark.”
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign held across thousands of neighborhoods nationwide each August to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
Earley’s remarks reflect ongoing discussions about public safety and political contests within Virginia as election season approaches.
