Mark Earley, a Republican member of the Virginia State House representing the 73rd district, recently posted a series of messages on his Twitter account reflecting on Memorial Day, local court proceedings, and state governance.

On May 25, 2026, Earley shared a message in honor of Memorial Day: “May we be forever grateful for those who gave the last full measure of devotion and strive to live worthy of their sacrifice.”

Two days later, on May 27, he posted about his visit to Pulaski for court business: “Down in Pulaski for Court — beautiful part of the Commonwealth down here in Southwest VA!”

Later that same day, Earley commented on the performance of Democratic lawmakers, “Democrats are failing to do even the basics of governing.”

Earley was elected to the Virginia State House in 2024, succeeding Rodney Willett as representative for the state’s 73rd House district. He is affiliated with the Republican Party.
