Mike Cherry, a public figure and educator, posted several statements on his social media account in early October 2025. The tweets cover topics ranging from former students’ achievements to positions on girls’ sports and commentary on political candidates.

On October 2, 2025, Cherry highlighted the accomplishments of a former student: “.@TuckerTyrique was one of my students at several years ago at Life Christian Academy. Look at him now!”

The following day, Cherry expressed a viewpoint regarding access to girls’ sports and facilities: “This need not be complicated. Girls sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms are for girls and only girls.” (October 3, 2025).

Later that same day, he commented on the conduct of an unnamed individual seeking office in Virginia: “Disqualifying behavior and an even weaker apology from someone seeking to represent the Commonwealth. We MUST re-elect @JasonMiyaresVA in November.” (October 3, 2025).

Cherry has previously served as an educator at Life Christian Academy. His recent posts reflect ongoing debates within Virginia over gender policies in schools and politics surrounding the upcoming November elections.
