Mike Cherry, a Virginia politician and current member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 66th District, documented his activities on Election Day through a series of posts on social media. On November 4, 2025, Cherry shared updates from several polling locations and expressed gratitude to voters following the close of polls.

In his first post on November 4, Cherry wrote: “Spent the morning with voters and volunteers in Colonial Heights, Chester, and Matoaca! Have you voted? https://t.co/vJkVuvf7da”. Later that day, he continued to encourage participation at local polling stations by posting: “Great afternoon at polling locations in Midlothian! Polls close at 7pm – get out and VOTE! https://t.co/oOCbiONv31”.

After the polls closed, Cherry addressed supporters with another message. On November 5 he posted: “Thank you to the voters in Colonial Heights and Chesterfield for your continued support and vote of confidence. https://t.co/PksZgDdeR6”.

Cherry has represented parts of Colonial Heights and Chesterfield County since being elected to the House of Delegates in 2021. His district covers several communities including those mentioned in his posts.
