On Wednesday, April 16, former Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School standout Keriann Slayton’s current college team, the Tufts Jumbos, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the MIT Engineers.
The game took place at Briggs Field. This was their first matchup against the Engineers this season.
The Jumbos’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at Briggs Field against MIT Engineers.
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts announced it is mourning artist Mary Lovelace O’Neal following news that she passed away May 10. The museum highlighted both an ongoing exhibition dedicated to her work as well as upcoming events celebrating her legacy.
