The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Central Virginia, presented by Apex Systems & ASGN Inc, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m.-Noon at Monroe Park, 700 W. Main St., Richmond, with free admission for all participants, bringing together survivors, supporters, and the community in a powerful walk down Franklin Street and Monument Avenue to raise awareness and funds for lifesaving breast cancer research and programs, while celebrating courage, honoring loved ones, and moving closer to a future where everyone has the opportunity to live a longer, healthier life free from breast cancer.

The Junior League of Richmond’s 20th Annual Touch a Truck®, presented as part of its 100th anniversary celebration, takes place on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Richmond Raceway, 600 E.
