Seven members of the University of Richmond men’s lacrosse team were named Inside Lacrosse All-Americans following the 2026 season, according to a May 11 announcement.
The recognition highlights one of the strongest seasons in program history for Richmond, which had seven players honored—ranking third nationally behind Princeton (nine) and Notre Dame and Virginia (eight each).
Short-stick defensive midfielder and team captain Jack Pilling earned First Team All-America honors, marking his second First Team selection of the postseason. The team’s other three captains—defenseman Hunter Smith, midfielder Joe Sheridan, and attackman Aidan O’Neil—were all named Second Team All-Americans. Charlie Packard (short-stick defensive midfielder) and Gavin Creo (midfielder) each received Third Team honors. Goalie Connor Knight was also recognized as a Third Team All-American after stepping into a full-time starting role this season; it is his first career All-America honor.
The full list of Inside Lacrosse honorees includes top athletes from programs across the country. Richmond’s representation on these teams reflects both individual talent and collective achievement throughout their season.
As the program continues to develop, these accolades may contribute to increased attention for Richmond men’s lacrosse in future seasons.
