30 percent of applicants to the University of Richmond were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Richmond, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in University of Richmond enrolled 4,002 students in fall 2018, including 3,295 in undergraduate and 707 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

16 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia, and 74 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Black or African American (8 percent).

The school admitted 30 percent of the 11,882 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
