The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Benito Loyola Jr., Ben Loyola for Congress, Inc., refunded $19,283 in July, according to data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Candidates can refuse or return contributions for a variety of reasons. Contributions may be refunded, for instance, in the event that the candidate does not want to be affiliated with a contributor, a contribution exceeds legal limits, or the candidate withdraws from a race.
