University of Richmond issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.
The University of Richmond recently earned high marks in the 2022 editions of top-ranking guides from U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review.
U.S. News’ Best Colleges 2022 ranked Richmond No. 22 among national liberal arts colleges for the second year in a row. The University again was named No. 25 for Best Value among national liberal arts colleges, tying the spot from last year.
Richmond also received high marks in other categories, appearing at No. 16 among national liberal arts colleges on the Most Innovative Schools list, and at No. 27 in the study abroad category of the Academic Programs to Look For ranking. More than 65% of UR students study abroad through semester, short-term, and summer programs.
The Princeton Review placed UR on its lists for Great Classroom Experience, Great-Run Colleges, Most Beautiful Campus, Great Career Services, Great Quality of Life, Great Athletic Facilities, and Great Campus Food.
Unlike in year’s past, the 2022 edition of The Best 387 Colleges 2022 did not include the Top 20 Colleges ranking lists. Because of the pandemic, the guide was not able to survey students who were studying remotely about their on-campus experiences.
