Allison B. Canter and Ashley T. Hart join Flora Pettit

Virginia Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 1

Flora Pettit is pleased to announce that Allison B. Canter and Ashley T. Hart have joined the law firm as attorneys in its Charlottesville office.

Allison concentrates her law practice in corporate and business law, banking, and real estate transactions. Allison came to Flora Pettit after several years of working in the design and risk management industries. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Allison attended law school at the University of Kentucky, where she was an Articles Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal.

Ashley focuses her law practice in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance coverage and defense.  She has litigated cases across Virginia, in both state and federal courts, involving issues such as personal injury defense, products liability, workers’ compensation, breach of contract, breach of warranty, unjust enrichment, and trademark infringement.  Ashley earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she was Executive Editor of the Journal of Energy, Climate, and the Environment.
