Virginia Union University's Head Golf Coach E. Lee Coble conducted a golf clinic on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Dominion Golf Club, located in Henrico County. This clinic is a part of Henrico County Public Schools strategic initiative to get students interested in the game of golf and have golf become a part of the Elementary and Middle School Curriculum.
During the clinic Coble covered many aspects of the golf game including how to grip the golf club, the golf swing, golf course etiquette and the putting stroke. He also demonstrated several golf shots during the clinic. He was also assisted by VUU's Former Head Golf Coach Donald Coleman.
Working closely with the leadership of Raiford Beasley, a Henrico PAL employee who has been instrumental in getting this initiative to become a part of the Henrico County Public Schools.
"I truly enjoyed talking with the future golfers in the Henrico County Public Schools. There was a lot of excitement in the air during this golf clinic", said Coble.
