The Richmond men's basketball team will host Wichita State at the Robins Center on Thursday, November 17, the program announced Thursday. With the addition of the game, Richmond's non-conference schedule includes 13 opponents, the maximum allowed by the NCAA.
It will be the first meeting between the Spiders and Shockers, who compete in the American Athletic Conference. Wichita State has posted a winning record in 13 straight seasons and appeared in the NCAA Tournament eight times since 2012, reaching the Final Four in 2013. Richmond won the Atlantic 10 in 2022 and defeated Big Ten champion Iowa in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Tip-off time and broadcast information for Richmond's entire non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
