Volleyball: Shaw 3, Virginia Union 0
Virginia Union University's Jade Lane led the Lady Panthers with six kills and four blocks, but Shaw University defeated VUU 25-14, 25-21, 25-21 on Thursday, October 13, in Raleigh, N.C.
"Our ladies played hard, but we need to keep focused and keep working out the small details," said VUU Head Volleyball Coach Joe Sullivan.
VUU's Ashlee Franklin had nine assists and five defensive digs in the match.
Virginia Union now returns home to face Virginia State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17.
