Victor O. Cardwell,
Victor O. Cardwell, Principal and Chairman of the Board of Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black (WRVB) was named to the inaugural class of Black Business Leaders by Virginia Business magazine. Victor was selected for additional recognition as a member of the Virginia Black Business Leaders Hall of Fame.
Virginia Business created the Virginia Black Business Leaders Awards to recognize the state’s most accomplished Black executives. Victor was selected as one of four award winners to join the Hall of Fame because of his outstanding career and excellence in business leadership.
Victor credits his success to his positive outlook on life and his work and is focused on mentoring and supporting young professionals. During his time as President of the Virginia Bar Association, Victor’s platform was focused on growing and diversifying the group’s membership. Victor has also been named to the Virginia Business Power 500, he serves on the Virginia State Bar’s Board of Governors for its Diversity Conference, and he was named to the Roanoke Law Foundation Fellows Program.
