VALLETTA WINS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman Emma Valletta was named rookie of the week, the Atlantic 10 announced today.
A native of Ravenna, Italy, Valletta clinched an essential point in the Rams win over George Washington on court five. She also paired with graduate student Victoria Smirnova on court two for a win in the same match.
VCU travels to Jacksonville, Fla. to take on North Florida on Thursday, March 9 at 10 a.m.
