Of the 225,676 citizens living in Richmond City in 2021, 82.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 186,483 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 87,486 were male, constituting 46.9%, and 98,997 were female, making up 53.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Richmond City during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
