There were 50 American Indian students enrolled in Richmond City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 6.4% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Richmond City Public Schools District welcomed 21,259 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the school.
