VCU Baseball will compete in the 2026 NCAA Chapel Hill Regional at Boshamer Stadium, hosted by National 5-seed North Carolina, with their opening game against UNC scheduled for Friday, May 29.

The Rams have been designated as the No. 4 seed in the regional bracket and will be joined by top-seeded North Carolina, No. 2 Tennessee, and No. 3 East Carolina. This marks VCU’s 15th appearance in the NCAA Postseason and its fourth showing in six years, following their recent Atlantic 10 Championship victory.

The double elimination format of the regional means VCU is set to play either Tennessee or East Carolina on Saturday, May 30. Competition may extend into Monday, June 1, if necessary.

Fans interested in attending can request tickets through a provided link until noon on Wednesday, May 27. Ticket requests require a credit card on file but will only be charged if tickets are awarded; notifications will be sent by Wednesday evening and all tickets are digital.

The Chapel Hill Regional schedule includes Tennessee facing East Carolina at noon on ESPNU and North Carolina playing VCU at 5 p.m. on ESPN+. Further details about postseason play are available at NCAA.com.
