If you are feeling the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, you are not alone. The city wants to support you. Here are two options for relief (NOT loans) available RIGHT NOW:
Utilities relief: you can qualify for relief on your utility payments from March 2020 to now. Just apply through the Richmond Va Department of Public Utilities right here: https://www.rva.gov/public-utilities/about-uscontact-us
Rent and mortgage relief: the Virginia Rent Relief Program is a good way to catch up on past due rent during the extended eviction moratorium. The state still has 70% of the money they received from the federal government during the pandemic. They're waiting on your application! Begin the process today: www.dhcd.virginia.gov/rmrp
