RAMS NOMINATED FOR SYNERGY TECHNICAL TEAM OF THE YEAR
VCU Women's Tennis has been nominated for the Synergy Technical Team of the Year, Richmond Region Tourism announced this week, the hosts of th second annual RVA Sports Award show.
On February 4th, 2023, the winners of the award will be announced at Altria Theater, where the event takes place. This years show will be hosted by Ryan Kerrigan, former defensive captain of the Washington Commanders.
The Synergy Technical Team of the Year award is given to a team who is currently participating in amateur, high school, collegiate or professional sports. The team shows positive aspects of sport and has made an impact on the Richmond community. Last years winner was Patrick Henry High School's boys varsity volleyball.
All proceeds from the RVA Sports Awards show will benefit the Richmond Region Tourism Foundation's Sports Tourism Grant Program.
