She mentioned that "The House is back in session today with 17 days left to fund the government and avoid a shutdown at midnight on 12/21.... And we still haven't passed the National Defense Authorization Act or the Farm Bill."
Later that day, she participated in an event focused on sustainable energy. McClellan stated, "Today, I participated in the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition Institute’s Inaugural Solutions Summit and collaborated with leaders to advance a climate agenda that promotes sustainable, low-carbon solutions and a high growth economy."
