Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, representing Virginia’s 4th district, has been active on social media discussing her recent activities and priorities. McClellan, who assumed office in 2023 after Donald McEachin, highlights key legislative challenges and engagements.

On December 3, 2024, McClellan noted the urgency of upcoming legislative tasks. She mentioned that "The House is back in session today with 17 days left to fund the government and avoid a shutdown at midnight on 12/21.... And we still haven't passed the National Defense Authorization Act or the Farm Bill."

Later that day, she participated in an event focused on sustainable energy. McClellan stated, "Today, I participated in the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition Institute’s Inaugural Solutions Summit and collaborated with leaders to advance a climate agenda that promotes sustainable, low-carbon solutions and a high growth economy."

On December 4, 2024, she commemorated Shirley Chisholm's centennial with fellow caucus members. She shared that "Today, I joined my @TheBlackCaucus colleagues to honor the life and legacy of Shirley Chisholm as we mark her 100th birthday."
