Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan recently shared her views and involvement in various societal causes through her Twitter account. McClellan, who represents Virginia's 4th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed significant topics such as women's history and trans visibility.

On March 31, 2025, McClellan spoke at the Feminist Majority Foundation Young Feminist Leadership Conference. She discussed the progress made in women's rights, the backlash against this progress, and the continued efforts needed to protect and advance these rights. She shared her reflections in a tweet: "On this last day of #WomensHistoryMonth, I spoke at the Feminist Majority Foundation Young Feminist Leadership Conference about how far we have come, the backlash to that progress, how far we still have to go, and how the next generation can do its part to protect and build on".

Later the same day, McClellan marked Trans Day of Visibility by emphasizing the importance of supporting the transgender and non-binary communities. In her tweet posted on March 31, 2025, she stated: "Today is #TransDayOfVisibility, an opportunity to uplift the trans and non-binary communities and celebrate their voices! Transgender lives are at risk today, and it’s our duty to defend and protect their right to exist."
